State of the Arts Brunch Highlights Recovery, Resilience, and Renewal for Buncombe County’s Creative Sector

On Monday, May 12, 2025, more than 200 community members gathered at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown for the 2025 State of the Arts Brunch, hosted by ArtsAVL.

Arts for Schools Grant Now Open

rtsAVL announces that the Arts for Schools Grant is now open for applications. The grant supports nonprofit arts organizations and qualified teaching artists in Buncombe County providing arts-focused performances, workshops, residencies, and field trips for students in public schools from grades K-12.

Arts AVL Awards $680,000 in Arts Business Relief Grants Across Western North Carolina

ArtsAVL has awarded $680,000 in Arts Business Relief Grants to 136 arts businesses across 19 Western North Carolina counties impacted by Hurricane Helene.
